Flu shots will be available to LV residents on Friday, October 30 from 9 AM – Noon in the Pavilion adjacent to the swimming pool. Livingston Visiting Nurses will administer the shots, which will be the super senior flu shots (as long as supplies last). Villagers must have their Medicare cards. Those who don’t have a Medicare card will have to pay for the shot. Everyone is required to wear a mask and maintain social distance.
Beginning on Monday, October 12, the Fitness Center will be open daily for Villagers. The hours will be 7:30 AM to 12:15 PM and 2:30 to 7:15 PM.
Four people at a time can use the facility for 45 minutes; a 15-minute cleaning by staff follows. Only residents with Fitness Center fobs are eligible.
Everyone must wear a mask or face shield. All must keep a social distance of 12 feet throughout the time in the Fitness Center. Use is limited to one person on the treadmill, one on an elliptical, etc.
Reservations must be made in person outside the Fitness Center on the day of use only;
no phone reservations for the Fitness Center will be accepted. A monitor will take the temperatures of users before they enter.
The rules of use are determined by Ventura County Health Department rules, not by LVA.
If any of the safety and health regulations are violated, the Fitness Center will be shut down for all.
