Hi I’m Sharron Parker, Realtor and Homeowner in Leisure Village, Camarillo CA since 2000. I’d like to show you our lovely recreation area and tell you about the many fun things to do which are enjoyed by our 3,000 plus residents.
One of the most popular activities is our 18-hole par 3 golf course. Residents love that there are no fees to play and you can start anywhere on the course.
We have a beautiful Olympic-sized swimming pool heated to approximately 84 degrees year-round for swimming, water aerobics, volleyball or just relaxing.
We’re very proud of our fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment. We appreciate the convenience of working out right in the village at anytime. There are also fitness classes such as yoga, stretching and Tai Chi. And you’ll almost always find residents bicycling or walking on our flat and well-lit streets for exercise. Even Rover enjoys getting outside.
There are many outdoor games to play while enjoying the beautiful Camarillo weather such as bocce, oversized chess, horseshoes, shuffleboard, pickleball, paddle and regular tennis.
Take a look at our beautiful landscaping with a gazebo picnic and barbecue area these can be reserved for private parties.
Many residents thoroughly enjoy planting vegetables in our farmers’ garden here in Leisure Village, Camarillo CA.
Our Recreation Center has designated rooms for billiards, ceramics, sewing and quilting, library and woodshop.
We also have game rooms for Wii bowling, ping-pong, bridge and mahjong.
Our large assembly room, which holds almost 1000 people, is used for entertainment productions such as plays, comedians and singers, bingo, dance classes, board meetings and of course Saturday night dances with live bands.
The RV Club enjoys taking trips together. Members love that they can park their RVs right here in Leisure Village at no additional charge as long as space is available.
Our travel office is where we sign up for many group trips. They are quite popular whether traveling to China, a casino or to a local theater. Traveling together is a great way to have fun and meet new friends.
There’s something for everyone here at Leisure Village with almost 100 clubs such as photography and wine-tasting.
