Leisure Village Amenities

Leisure Village offers so many amenities fort residents to enjoy including an 18-hole Par-3 Golf Course, Year-Round Heated Swimming Pool & Spa, Fitness Center, Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts, Woodshop, Ceramics Shop, Billiards, Farmer’s Garden, RV Parking, Walking & Bicycle Paths and so much more!

Golf

Leisure Village has a par-3, 18-hole golf course which residents can play on for free. Golfers can start on tee #1 or #10. Golf carts are not allowed on the golf course except as reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities. The Administration Office has the details. Children under the age of 14 years old are not allowed on the golf course. Golf carts and low speed electric vehicles are required to be decaled when on LVA common areas including driveways and carports. Motor vehicles including golf carts shall not be driven on any LV sidewalks, paths, bicycle lanes or greenbelts.

Swimming Pool & Spa

The pool is heated to 83 degrees year-round and is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Children aged 5 – 17 years old can use the pool between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm if they are accompanied by a resident. Children under the age of 5 years old are not permitted in the pool area at any time. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the Spa or the Spa area. There is no lifeguard on duty. No food or beverages are allowed in the pool area, except water bottles. No diving, jumping, smoke or pets. No running, playing tag, rough or rowdy play. No inflatable devices or floatation rafts, chairs or rings are allowed. Only Coast Guard approved life jackets and swimsuits with floatation pads inserted inside the suit are allowed by children ages 5-17.

Fitness Center

The fitness center was built in 2015 without an assessment to the homeowners. It is a free-standing building looking out to the pool with treadmills, stair-steppers, bicycles, free weights, weight machines and stretching area. Some residents hire their own trainer. It is open 24 hours a day. In order to use the Fitness Center, residents must have a consultation with a Fitness Center Volunteer to learn how to operate the equipment. Residents will submit an Equipment Verification Form and Fitness Center Use Agreement. There is a small fee for the keyfob required for entry into the fitness center. There is a red phone by the closet door which rings directly to Security, to be used in an emergency. No food or drink other than water is allowed.

Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts

There are 2 tennis courts and 2 pickle ball courts. Residents can use them any time, and some residents meet others there at specific times through the week.

Woodshop

The woodshop and woodshop annex are filled with machinery and tools for all carpenters’ dreams. Once a resident is trained on the machinery, they will have access to the woodshop. If residents need repairs to any wood items, i.e. furniture, they can take it to the woodshop on Wednesday mornings between 10:00am and Noon and they will do the repairs and ask for a donation for their work.

Ceramics Shop

The ceramics shop has its own kiln and pottery wheels. They offer one-on-one training.

Billiards

The billiards room is open for anyone to play pool. The club members get together for round robin tournaments and socialization.

Farmer’s Garden

Gardeners will delight in having their own plot of land to harvest fruits and vegetables.

RV Parking

If you have an over-sized vehicle (boat, trailer, camper, RV), there is a 4-acre, gated site in Leisure Village with a wash rack that you may use at no additional charge if there is space.

Walking & Bicycling

The main streets in Leisure Village are nice and wide with plenty of room for bicycles. Pedestrians are always outside enjoying the beautiful weather and walking their dogs.
