My mother required more care and we had to move her out of her home in Leisure Village. We were planning to use our dearest family friend to list the home as we trusted her. When it came time to sell our Mom’s home in Leisure Village, we thought about using a friend as our Realtor, but thought we’d interview a local broker just to be sure. We are so glad we did! We had no idea how different selling a home in Leisure Village is. Thank you for the wonderful tour of Leisure Village on Saturday. My wife and I truly enjoyed the wealth of information, as well as the personal attention you devoted to us. We are most appreciative. I also reviewed the Leisure Village newsprint and enjoyed both your columns, very informative indeed. I also came across the recent flood zone update, which caught me by surprise. Several years ago when I was a Banker, it wasn’t an issue.

My wife and I have made up our minds to move to Leisure Village, hopefully by this year. We prefer an Amalfi, second phase, out of the flood zone area…..is this possible? Additionally we would prefer a unit that has been in better care, enabling us to simply move in as opposed to fixing up, painting, replacing windows and carpeting. We would  one as we have seen, with a lower price. Then I would invest in new windows, etc. before we would move in.

Our plans are to close escrow on our duplex in L.A. (slated to close by June 25th) sell our SFR (I will attempt to sell For Sale By Owner) & rent until an Amalfi we like hits the market. We will definitely ask that you represent us as buyers.
