Attention New Fitness Center Newcomers

Remember that only Villagers who have been “trained” (as we call it) can use the Fitness Center. “Training” means participating in a short introduction to the rules and equipment in the facility and buying a key fob that is needed to unlock the gym door.
A new program offers a welcome mat at the Fitness Center for “Newcomers” who moved into the Village from January 2020 to the present. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, an opportunity to be “trained” and buy a key ($6.00 – please bring exact cash) will be available from 1:00 – 2:00 PM for three people at a time. The training takes 30 minutes, which means six people a day can be accommodated. No guests or caregivers can be included. To make an appointment for the trainings, call the Recreation Office at 805-482-8961.
