Villagers who can knit – and those who can crochet, too – have the opportunity to help homeless children in Ventura County. An estimated 3000 boys and girls without proper housing need clothing to keep warm during these chilly days, scarves and beanies in particular, according to Cathi Nye, Coordinator for the Homeless in the Ventura County Office of Education. The Association has yarn – lots of it was donated recently. It’s the people who can knit and crochet that yarn into warm and toasty items that are essential. Let us know if you can help!
